2010 Toyota Prius Review In-Depth article
Hi guys,
So here's a long form look at the new Prius. What are your thoughts? Thinking about getting one? If so, which trim looks best for you? Which features do you value the most?
If you drive one or have driven one, is there anything missing? Give us your thoughts.
If you missed the article, you can find it here: https://www.greenhybrid.com/hybrid-c...-the-drive.php
Thanks!

I would have to state that the 'console' is a big minus for me. It eliminates my neat little cubby space for my mp3 player and other bits, and pretty much keeps you from using the 'plugs' on the floor. Seriously, do they expect everyone to recline on the seat to reach them?

I've read Toyota's press releases and the same words appear...
"...with such things as the AC compressor and water pump now driven electrically. This means the air conditioner works, though not full blast, even with the engine turned off."
Seems to me the AC compressor has always been electric (in older Priuses) - I know the air conditioning works when the gas engine isn't running on a 2008 Prius - so why does Toyota brag about this as something "new"?

Just saw a 2010 Prius in the adjacent restaurant's parking lot.....
WOW, double that...!!
If only it were RWD....
Or even still with the smaller 1.5L engine but with DFI to keep the new HP/torque performance level but improved FE.
15:1 static compression ratio with DFI instead of the current 13:1.
