GPS navigation install aftermarket
Hi
i just bought a prius pack 7 from 2004 used. I love it. I was wondering though, since it didn't come with the GPS Navigation, if there is a way to put one in using the screen that is in the car instead of getting a second screen?
I am sure someone out there has worked on this.
Thanks

Re: GPS navigation install aftermarket
This same question came up with Acura non-Navi screen. The short answer was no. It was so costly to alter not only the car, but the screen. The screen wasn't the proper quality to 'run' the navigation. I could be wrong - good luck.

Re: GPS navigation install aftermarket
Coastaletech seems to have a kit which can be used to install an aftermarket navigation system.

I haven't tried this since I decided to go the cheap route and bought a $400 Garmin unit which I stick on the dash when I need it.
