hidden trunk

does anyone know how deep the hidden trunk compartment is?

I just measured it, it's about 5 1/2 inches deep.

Thanks very much. Seems like you can't fit a bazooka sub without cutting the plastic :-/

Its a sub box that is designed to fit behind the seat of a truck, they can be quite thin...check the specs at crutchfield.

this is the smallest one i could find. looks like it could fit under the front seats. I kind of like that, then I could probably get two and fit one under each seat. (if i had the money...)

I'd have to get out a tape measure and see what kind of space is really under a seat, but it sure seem like that unit at Crutchfield would fit in clear space. Somebody tell me if I'm wrong, but I have the JBL system and the amp for the stereo is under the passenger's seat? Do you have the JBL system Flare?
