The first pre-owned Prius II are coming out to the marketplace now in Sweden, starting at SEK 247 500. That would be around $ 33 500. So stop complaining about price gouging in the US... And then gas is about $ 5 here.

What are the new sold for? Is the used Prius more expensive than the new (except the price gouging)?

Depends how much they upcharge. If you're lucky, you can find one for MSRP, which is about $20k. Depending on the package, up to $26k. No base change in price from the Prius I yet, but there should be for the 05.

So if you would sell your Prius today Jason (which I know you wouldn't do for any price ), you would make a profit of at least say $3 000? That is exceptional!

Well, whatever the market will endure. If I can find someone to pay $30k for my car, sure. That's what the dealers are doing.

As long as you undercut the dealer enough....the demand is there. What a weird market, cars that actually appreciate initially.

Oh, by the way, I think it should be mentioned... I'm not actually selling my car, even for $30k
