You obviously live in an area where you can commute mostly downhill. The 70 degree temps don't hurt either.

Actually the morning temps were in the mid 40's with afternoon temps in the mid to lower 50's. There were three days in the 70s when I drove this month. I had one segment at 69 mpg when it was 41F outside.

Resist,

Pulse and glide at slow speeds. Anticipation of traffic. Try P&G technique between 20 and 30 mph for 10 minutes and see what you get on the consumption screen. I bet it will be in the mid to low 70's mpg.

Please fully explain "Pulse and Glide". I thought I was doing it but can't get anything near what your are getting.
