different tires would be the easiest way to get a better ride. most folks say the oem tires are quite harsh, especially when pumped up to their max (or higher) air pressure in the quest for higher mpgs. overall, its not too easy to get a cadillac ride out of a very lightweight sports coupe. pretty much aint gonna happen.

Harsh ride...New Shocks, suggestions?
My Insight's shocks seem to be going, the ride is getting worse progressively and the rear end slips a bit when turning quickly now. The tire pressure has been lowered to about 42-40 (much lower than usual for me) but the problem doesn't seem to be with the tires (They are non-LRR's and were purchased by the previous owner for better ride quality, stability and cornering.) I know what a "Normal" Insight should feel like, and this is not it. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone who is replacing their shocks anyway?...(on a budget) Especially if anyone has done so themselves it would be appreciated.
