Questions:
1: How can you tell if your battery is deteriorating, ahead of schedule?
2: Only 1.2 hours to replace the battery pack? (rhetorical.)

1.2 hours is plenty of time to replace it. They can probably do it in less that 45 minutes maybe even less. You just have to remove the back seat and unbolt a few bolts.

Nice of honda to extend the warranty to make sure they get rid of all the bad packs. Kudos to honda for taking the extra step for its customers.

Unless there is a check engine light, it has been my experience that you are SOL. It took almost a year for mine to illuminate from first failure. Almost ment the difference between Warrenty and No warrenty (2000km)

tbaleno - Where's this "back seat" you make mention of?

HONDASUCKS - Thanks for that update. It sounds as though **YOU** may have made a difference. I know my battery pack's days are numbered but I've been having frequent recals for 15,000 miles now. I wonder if/when they'll make this happen in the US.
