Insight auto only qualifies for 2006 tax break?
Honda has detailed federal tax credits that they feel will be allowable for credit on 2006 tax returns. In their report (see below url) they indicate that only the Insight automatic will be qualified. I wonder why the manual a/t is not included. Are emissions worse with the manual?

The MT has leanburn which puts it in an ineligible air pollution category. Astronomically low greenhouse gas score (directly correlated to MPG) but the penalty for forcing such extreme combustion is relatively massive NOx generation.
For comparison:
EPA air pollution score for the 2006 MT insight: 2 (bin9a/LEV1)
EPA air pollution score for the 2006 Chevy Tahoe: 3
A "2" means 0.3g/mile of NOx emissions, 30 times as much as a AT-PZEV!
