?????Upgrades

I just bought my insight from out of state. Does anyone know if there are any upgraded module software or hardware I should persue. I am an Aston Martin technician and we have new engine management softwares available about once a year or so. Just wondered if Honda was the same senerio.

Doesn't the NHTSB maintain a list of all recalls for US-Sold vehicles somewhere on their website? Maybe Carfax would have the info too?
I know my '01 has had an ECU recall performed. It changed the charging characteristics a bit.
