Default 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid 12 Volt Issues

Hello All!
My car keeps dying because the 12 volt battery isn't being charged. From what I understand the car has a dc/dc charger that is next to the 144v battery which by the way was recently replaced. What would be the best way to find out why my 12 volt isn't being charged? I have taken it to an automotive place to get it charged and it checks out as a good battery. I can't drive more than 20 miles without it starting to die on me. I would like to think it is a simple loose wire or something simple. I do have all the manuals to my car but I am not sure how to best go about this. Any suggestions or recommendations? They would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you take the car to have the 144V battery replaced? It sounds like maybe a wire wasn't reconnected during the installation. Maybe you can bring it back for them to check all the connections.

If you can borrow a Scan-gauge you can select charging rate of your 12 V. H

Default 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid 12 Volt Issues/2

@Gairwyn

I replaced the new better battery myself and I would have to check that out again. The 12 volt battery light turns on and off again, as I accelerate and deaccelerate respectively. It seems that the battery likes when I am accelerating around 60 pmh becuase it turns off. It seems that I had no issues with the 12 volt for a good while after I recently replaced the better battery, aka the 144v battery.

@Harold
I have seen many scan-gauge advertisings and always wondered what they were good for. I have to look into that to see how I could benefit from obtaining one of those. I would prefer to fix source of the problem instead of adding yet another trouble point in the "circuit" if you know what I mean. I could try to use a scan gauge but if the cars original method to charge the 12volt isn't working, I would believe that the scan-guage would not charge the car correctly. I don't know much about them but I do know to fix the root of the problem and not so much a band aid solution, from my point of view and with all due respect.

Are you still running on the original 12V battery? If so, it's getting on in years.
But if the 12V is okay, maybe just check all your connections. I sent you a PM with a link that has a lot of pictures. You may have it already, but maybe not, so check your PMs.

I just changed my 12v battery the other day and when I did my AC and heat stopped working. What ever came from your problem? Sounds like we have similar problems. How were you able to fix the issue?
