Wheels are sharp.

Very nice ride; reminds me of the Acura CSX that is available just north of our borders (in Canada).

Yep, that's exactly the same body as the Acura CSX... minus the hybrid badge of course .

Sweet!
Why couldn't they bring THAT front-end and the leather to the US?

Very nice-looking wheels, BTW!

Refer to my post on the winter setup for my car (wheels+snow tires), https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...day.10191.html. I have not noticed a big hit at all and I would say 1-2 mpg loss maximum. After installing them I took a trip 4 days later to Milwaukee (1,360 miles round-trip) and the FE arriving (against heavy headwinds and rain) was in the mid-45s mpg but on the way back the 630-mile trip resulted in a wind-aided FE of 56.8 mpg ... on SNOW tires and NON-STOCK wheels. If someone else wants to drive from Milwaukee to Pittsburgh on the stock setup and improve the 56.8 mpg calculation then be my guest. I'm pleased with the dry condition FE so far and think that the cold weather will have a 10-15 mpg hit so changing wheels and tires will be almost unnoticeable.

I guess the hit in mpg is minimal when you stay with stock size of 15. But, when you upsize the hit becomes more apparent. But, I would sacrifice a hit in mpg for the safety in the snow anytime.

Your info sounds about right.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

says the difference is ~4% in tire size. My only other concer is the wheel weight.

Is it just me, or are those head lights a different shape from the US?
And the brake lights are different from the US versiona as well?

I really love the way those two look compared to the US version. Are there any conversions available?
