If I'm not mistake won't this car cost around the same as a Volvo s60 or the basic Alfa Romeo? Roughly equall to 30,000 US dollars?

Kinda pricey for just a leather upgrade and a voice navi. Granted your getting a good hybrid car, but for that price I'd hope they load the interior in teak wood or massage seats.

Cars in Europe are very expensive by US standards. Go to www.honda.co.uk and multiply all the prices by 2 to get rough dollar equivalents. Non-hybrid civics start at about $30,000. The base price for the CR-V is $37,500; the UK Accord, which is sold as the Acura TSX in the US, starts at around $34,000; the Civic Type R, which is roughly equivalent to the US market Si starts at $35,000; there is a Honda Legend, which appears roughly equivalent to the Acura CL, that starts at about $73,000; and the S2000 starts at a whopping $54,000.

The base Volvo S60 starts at the equivalent of $40,000 but you don't have to add much in the way of optional extras before you are over $50k.

Then again, this is an example of what $25k will get you:
