Just talking here.....
Today my family went to my Honda dealership to get some info on a new car.
My wife loves my HCH so much and that was our first target.

My 1st problem is we have an '02 Grand Caravan that we'd love to trade in, too bad it is listed as worth only $11K, so we are upside down about $8k. Guess well have to hang on to it a while longer.

2nd problem is that they are out of HCH's. They get 2-3 a month from Japan and are back ordered 1-2 months.

We also looked at other models but I was purplexed by MSRP prices after dealer options:
Civic LX for $18K
Another model (Forgot the name) smaller than Civic $19K
CRV $23K
Accord $28K

Geeeeeeeze I couldn't believe those prices!
Looks like I'll be shopping for a car on the net, when it's time for a new one.

Well my wife said she isn't interested in any of those cars because she wants a hybrid.
At least it will be a coupe of years until we can get rid of our pain....the Grand Caravan. Pehaps then she can have her pick.

Well, it's a start, Steve!

Oh yeah....hee hee.... "you're welcome!"

Tell me, was it the pizza comment, or the baleful look and the request for a glass of water?

Hi Hot_Georgia_2004:

___Where did you pick up those prices? In California, some are picking up PZEV based Accord LX’s w/ Auto for < $18,000! Also, don’t forget about the upcoming Fit. According to some Yahoo - Jazz/Fit groupies, it will hit our shores in spring 2005. At least the Canadian’s are hoping it will be available to them at that time anyway?

___Good Luck

Yea, I just couldn't believe what they wanted.
It's a Honda dealership near the Mall of Georgia, same one where I picked up my HCH.

Steve I was at my Honda dealer today getting my oil changed and saw 3 Hybrids on the lot. I know it's a bit far away but I think they are still dealing and not charging sticker price. kevin
