Hey everyone,

On the 06 HCH w/Navigation.... if you're using your navigation and you decide to stop using it and want to turn off your display, is that possible?... To turn off the display while the navigation is on?

I know you can turn off the display if you don't press the "OK" for the disclaimer when you turn on the car....

 

I think if you hit cancel it does that so you just see the clock. I'm just going off memory but I know you can shut it off.

 

yes, you can do this. while on the map screen, push the "setup" button on the right. then select the display clock option. after the clock comes on, there is a button on the screen to shut off the display. the nav system will continue to work, giving you audio directions but the screen will be off.

alternately, you can say while on the map screen:
"setup"
"display clock"
"diskplay off"
