Is 0w20 oil available anywhere else but the honda dealer? Thats the price I pay for Mobil One for my other car.
Also, how do you remove the 'shield' under the car to get to the oil drain plug?

To remove the shield, use a straight edged screwdriver and gently twist the head in the one of the two grooves. The head of the fastener will release out about 1/2 inch, then pull the fastener.
If the car is on ramps, you may be able to get by with unfastening only the front six fasteners. Just fold it back after that, there is a crease there.
Be sure to have a crush washer available, as you will need a new one to replace the one you are removing.
I use Mobil 0w20, synthetic in my '04 HCH. I stocked up on it a year ago at $5.29 per quart.
