Hybridfest 2007

Re: Hybridfest 2007
And it just dawned on me that anyone driving up from the South or East will be passing near Milton, WI (Exit 171 on I-90/I-39). In this town is Schilberg Park, http://www.ci.milton.wi.us/files/map.pdf, which doesn't create too much excitement for anyone but my last name is Schilberg so it is neat to see my name in lights. After hitting the Oak Creek gathering in the Fall my Aunt rode with us to Milton and we took our photo by the sign for the park. Nice quaint town too (What did I remember most about this town? The nice 2-mile downhill from the park to through the center of town - such a Hybrid owner).
I am still planning on attending though my job changed since starting the post and it might be more of a long day-trip to reach the Gathering and then another long day-trip home (600 miles one-way). That will be 2 tanks of gas for me or hopefully a bit less than 2 tanks.

Re: Hybridfest 2007
Just through my hat in to go 1450 miles to the event. Debbie Katz is letting me use her FEH in the MPG Challenge, so we both will be competing in the same vehicle. Thank you Debbie! Hopefully she will be video taping my turn behind the wheel to better explain my techniques to others. Many people have requested me to make a video available on Youtube.com, so maybe I'll finally get a chance to make a video. An extra person in the vehicle should not hurt MPG that much in the FEH, but it may help other owners choose the techniques I use to improve mileage more in the long run.
