100 kilometers per liter is more like 235 miles per gallon. I'd give up 100 of those MPGs to get side-by-side seating and room in back for a couple kids.

It's a start. What VW learns building this one will be the basis for further improvements. Four door, four passenger sedans are what people want.

No they are not. Bad Journalist! Don't pull that switch-a-roo trick on the good folk of Australia. The prototype was shelved a few years ago as it could never be put into production or sold to consumers. It was inherently unsafe for public roads.
