That's pretty impressive mileage! As I mentioned earlier, your tank isn't the only place with gas in it. They typically don't count a sort of excess area where the filler neck meets the tank, plus there is the full capacity of the filler neck itself. I'm impressed as heck that you were able to run it down to that point though. They must have an extremely good tank scavenging mechanism to be able to use virtually every last bit of gas. Excellent job!

 

I think I exceeded 14 gallons on one tank. I topped it off to the point the fuel would pour out of the car if any more was added.
