Default Chrysler hybrids in production

http://www.metronews.ca/edmonton/live/article/113440

Chrysler’s Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) have started rolling off the assembly line at its Newark (Delaware) Assembly Plant.

Chrysler is offering the two-mode hybrid powertrain on both vehicles built at the plant, Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen.
. . .
My understanding is these will be significantly less expensive than other two--mode hybrids.

Maybe some day a light will go off in their heads, and they will offer the hybrid option in a car.
