Emissions testing results

Emissions testing results
Our 2001 Prius had to go through emissions testing this year (AirCare) so I thought I'd post the results:
Hydrocarbons: 0.0234 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 0.0404 --- Maximum Allowed: 0.3700
Carbon Monoxide: 0.0685 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 0.8454 --- Maximum Allowed: 6.2100
Oxides of Nitrogen: 0.0179 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 0.0124 --- Maximum Allowed: 0.9300
There was no idle test done, I suppose it's not applicable since the car does not normally run the ICE at idle. They did interface with the ODB II to check for various things like tampering and trouble codes. The odometer is over 66,000km.

Re: Emissions testing results
By "average vehicle" does that mean other Prius' or just all vehicles of that displacement or what? It would appear the only category where yours was significantly lower than average was CO emissions.

So, from how I understand it that would mean all 2001 Toyotas with a 1.5/gasoline engine, so probably Echo's and other Prii.
Edit: just found this interesting data: http://www.hybridexperience.ca/Emission_testing.htm

Re: Emissions testing results
This was the test results from 2003, I don't know why the average readings were so high, maybe they included other cars for lack of data, I think this year's was just including other Prii.
Hydrocarbons: 0.0266 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 0.0554 --- Maximum Allowed: 0.3700
Carbon Monoxide: 0.0000 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 2.2418 --- Maximum Allowed: 6.2100
Oxides of Nitrogen: 0.0008 g/km --- Average Vehicle: 0.2162 --- Maximum Allowed: 0.9300
This was the first test for the car. It's only done every 2 years (but costs twice as much) and the first years it was exempt. Odomoter was around 33,000km
