I have a hybrid-electric already but if this would be a neat project:
  • install a 20-30 kW generator in bed
  • rebuild salvage Prius traction batteries to replace lead-acid batteries

Oh you mean those horrible heavy, unrecyclable, Canadian wasting, hydrogen filled, electrocuting, failing at 109,000 mile, and too expensive to replace batteries. <GRINS>
