One oopsie- the author claims 4.0L Explorers 2005 and earlier are E85 compatible. Not so. Only if its labeled "FFV" on the gas cap, and it should have the leafy badge on the side.
Here's the model-by-model breakdown. Determination made by your VIN:
http://www.e85fuel.com/information/vin.php
If you're willing to void your warrantee, or are out of warrantee, there are lots of reports of people using E85-gasoline blends in 'regular' cars with no problems, other than maybe harder starting in the winter. Most of them seem to be running 1/3-1/2 E85, but some are running full E85 without problems, other than the idiot light being on. Depends on how lenient your engine controls are, I suppose.
Now if we could shift the infrastructure to pipe it around without water entrainment.

Xcel,
I failed in my searching the other day to find a detailed CO2 lifecycle report of switchgrass used as a feedstock for biodiesel or electricity generation. Know of any ?

Woah, now this could really change the way we think about fuels and competition between energy sources:

An engine that can run on any type of fuel would really help the biofuel markets out by making it easy for people to choose new alternatives when they become available and/or cost competitive. Certainly would help people move from gasoline to biodiesel!
