My wife averages 3-5 MPG more than me!

My wife averages 3-5 MPG more than me!
Recommendation:
I think a "Driver key" and/or the sex of the driver (as a option) should be added to the database. And have this option available on each tank. Why? My wife gets broke 50 MPG on the last tank.... I am so jealous!
Another recommendation would be to have the drive type (City/Highway/Suburban) available at the tank level. This could provide interesting data based ont hose city dwealers that take a long trip accross the country and get different MPG.
Thanks for the great webstie

My wife does, but it really isn't fair. She teaches at a university 45 miles away 3 days a week, and her route is a nice blend of country roads, interstate and city. When I drive it to work, it is 1.5 miles of stoplights and the car never gets warmed up.

i get the best milage because i do most of the driving and keep my instant feedback screen on all of the time. where as my boyfriend drive the car only on the weekends and has his F-150 lead foot and wants to do lots of short trips. then i have (enjoy) to spend the whole week getting it right back to where it should be.

I work and my wife is a homemaker. Her 2001 Echo has less than 25,000 miles. I've put 13k mi. since last October on my 2003 Prius. At this rate, I'm likly to get 15k mi in the first year of ownership. I'm driven to get good MPG.

I have let several people take my HCH for a short spin- even a Brit with an international license who's used to driving on the left side of the road. She went back to London with hybrid fervor! I see it as doing my bit to change minds one at a time. And no, none of them did as well on mileage as I do. No surprise there.
