This coming Monday I will be quadrupling the Battery capacity of EMAXX, from 6.5Ah to 24.5Ah of NiMH. I will not be grid charging, however, so I all power will be generated from good old 87 octane gasoline.

So the question is, what do i do about the mileage database? Do I continue to add data under EMAXX or do I create a new car name, like EMAXX+? I figure the best case is +10%, and the worst case is that I am carrying around an additional 150 lbs of dead weight, -5%.

This should be quite interesting!

Well, I don't see why you'd NEED to create a new car unless you want to. I suggest just keeping it the way it is right now. In the future when I have more time perhaps I'll implement a feature to allow a user to remove their car from aggregate statistics.

Just be sure to write this as a car mod!

Hi Krousdb:

___I can’t wait to see the results! Post some pics and specific details in the Prius forum as this sounds like the greatest of mods …

___As for your Prius, why not post to EMAXX for a while as you might need to relearn your techniques a bit given the new found abilities of your Prius II(a)

___Good Luck

Hi Daveaguco:

___You pulled this one out from way under the bed, didn’t you

EMAXX

___Last 3 tanks in warmer weather, ~ 65 mpg.

EMAXX +

___Last 3 tanks in warmer weather, ~ 65 mpg although on much shorter tanks?

___He has not visited, posted to any threads, or uploaded any tanks in quite some time? I hope he has Instant E-Mail Notification enabled so that we can see some real world – long term results? I thought he used to hang out at Prius 2G but I haven’t visited that site in quite some time.

___Good Luck
