Hello,

Another new member. I live in Northern Virginia. Took delivery of a 2004 Prius Seaside Pearl back on 13 May. I'll be posting a photo soon. My commute is 40 miles one way, so far averaging about 51mpg. Doing my best to increase the mpg. Ownming this car is a trip. Ever heard pf George Carlyn's routine about other drivers and their speed? Idiots drive to slow and morons drive to fast ... I have a new take for the routine ... what is a person that makes you lose kinetic energy? For the time being they are Dorks ... but maybe there is a better term.

Welcome, French!
what is a person that makes you lose kinetic energy?
Unaware.
Most people just do not think of the extreme amount of times they "speed up to get the stoplight faster".
I had this exact experience this morning. Two lane city street. Since I drive this route every morning, I know the timing of the lights very well. I know that there is no reason to speed from the first light to the next, because it is impossible to make it. Yet sure enough a young driver in a BMW speed as fast as they can around me, and cut back in front of me, only to brake immediately at the next light.

Oh well.

Unaware...
