Smile Newbie here!

Hi everyone,

I'm a new user of this forum. It looks great and I'm looking forward to good interactions with everyone.

I own a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid and I'm pretty happy with it but would like to learn tips on how to maximize its fuel efficiency. I've browsed the forums and ran into terms like "hypermiles" and "forced auto stop". Is there a link to tutorials on these subject?

Thanks in advance,

Erich

Hi Erich; Welcome to (GreenHybrid) and you might try to do a "SEARCH" and see what it turns up because I feel sure that the subject has been discussed many times on this Forum.

Also you might look for a member by the name of "xcel" and PM him he is one of the Forums experts (IMO) on FE (fuel economy) and Hypermiling. When you see his name on a post simply click on it and it will take you to his profile and there it will allow you to send him a PM.

OK. Thanks, I'll try a PM. I did a search but all the threads used the term but didn't reallly explain it.

Regards,

Erich

Also, look for the glossary link. Click on it and read through the glossary to get an idea of all these acronyms (there are a lot)

Welcome to the forums!

I too, have an HAH. I'm still learning to drive it with efficiency. Most of the time, using hypermiling techniques takes more effort than I'm willing to provide. I still get decent mileage, but not as high as I could be getting.
