2008 FEH Brakes Process Bleeding and Installing

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I have a 2008 FEH with 250,000 miles. I looked at my brakes and rotors and they need to be replaced. The only thing I am concerned about is the bleeding procedure. I have been reading that I need to do this at a dealer because it is a special process. Has anyone done this on their own? Should I just change the brakes and push the old fluid back? I am worried it might damage the ABS system which will not be worth it in the long run. My car is probably only worth 4000 with all the miles on it. Any advice would be appreciated. Also should I just replace the front brakes or do both rear and front?

It has what called regenerate brake design, not sure needs any electronic settings after refill the brake fluid...I also have a 2008 escape, only 50,000 miles since I take transit to work.

Are you a taxi driver? Kidding..
