I am really glad it worked out for you, unfortunately for me i lost a couple thousand on the car but some folks were ok with driving it in the winter only and bought it right away. (Since it doesn’t have any symptoms when it’s cold out and in Indiana our summer months are limited ) I have a Prius now and I’m more pleased with it than the ford :)

did you do the lines yourself? How hard was it?

I'm sorry that happened to you, it stinks you lost that money. Now it is funny (odd) someone is willing to drive in cool months only, I have to wonder how long that will last, yikes! As for the brake lines, I did not change them, Big O did. Big O found the problem in 15 minutes, repaired and flushed for a few hundred dollars. I did/do count my blessings that day. Happy you are enjoying your Prius. :)

So it got fixed, how long ago the fixed lasted?

It looks like you're asking me when it was fixed? That would be October 2018 and like I said previously, the car has been fine ever since. And I anticipate the brake lines lasting for some years to come.
