Yes, I've read the book. It may be in there but if it is, it's obscure. The trick is some combination of the three buttons that control the alpha-numeric display. I really would appreciate the answer to this from some FEH owner who has changed his or her oil. Thank you. Julian

To reset it, do a system check, and one of the options will be "hold to reset 100%"

So my boy's starting to have some allergy problems (That time of year her) and worse than mine. So I think I might finally splurge on a cabin filter.
So I went to Fram's site, searched FP-66 (2007+ version) and got all these competitor part #'s. I have yet to buy/order one yet, but thought I'd update this post with some more potential #'s to search:

http://www.power-21.com/FramPower21i...b=F&pn=CF10548

Fram CF10548
Baldwin PA4394
Champ CAF1844P
Hastings AFC1354
Luber-Finer CAF1844P
Purolator C25685
Wix 49466

If it's the same as the picture, it looks a litle better shaped then the stock filter picture.

Will update if/when I get one installed

{Should have bing'd the price first... $60 at rock auto, $90 something at amazon! For only a 5min ride to/from school not sure I'm gonna do it!}

The NAPA part number for the cabin air filter for 07 and up is 9466 and is less than $25, my warehouse does not stock it, but I will see if I can get it.

I just ordered some more filters and thought I would update the pricing as several of the retailers that had the best deals 2 years ago no longer do...or no longer exist!

I found AdvanceAutoParts and Amazon to have the best prices. RockAuto (has good prices on everything but the engine filter). I ended up going with amazon for my needs.

I picked up 2 cabins, 2 battery, 2 engine and 1 oil filter for $86.34 delivered. Same order at Advanced was $20 more.

www.Amazon.com (free super saver shipping)
Cabin Filter - Wix 24816 - $16.18
Engine Filter - Fram CA10170 - $9.65
Battery Filter - Wix 24477 - $14.31
Oil Filter - Wix 57203 - $6.06

-------------------------------------

www.advanceautoparts.com (free shipping on orders over $80)
Cabin -Purolator C25478 - $23.49
Engine - Purolator A25567 - $10.59
Battery - Purolator C25571 - $15.77
Oil - Purolator L15505 - $6.59

----------------------------------------

www.RockAuto.com
Cabin Filter - Wix 24816 - $14.38
Engine Filter - Wix 49187 - $27.79
Battery Filter - Wix 24477 - $13.40
Oil Filter - Wix 57203 - $3.96

I finally did it after all this time of talking about it. My boy was diagonised with asthma, and did an allergy test, and said he's pretty much alergic to everything! particually mold and tree pollen. So even if it's only a 5min ride, I'm hoping it'll help a little.

I went with Rock Auto, and sorry to say still can't justify a $60 disposable cabin filter (now if like K&N it's re-usable that'd be a different story), so I went with cheapest, just to be sure it'd fit.

I got a TYC #800139P for $8.21, paid about the same in shipping, so like $15. Got it, it's the weird shape, and seems to fit. Snowed the next day so I haven't been in the car to see if it makes a difference yet.

So I assume RockAuto's list is accurate and these models should all fit the 07's+

TYC #800139P $8.21
WIX # 49466 $15.64
Motorcraft # FP66 $26.79
FRAM freshbreeze #CF10548 $59.89
DENSO #4532010 $13.39
Bosh # P3725 $14.76

Below is a Pic of the TYC, it has foam around the edge to help make a snug fit. Not sure how it compares to the ~$15 filters in material or use, I'm guessing similar.

Two dumb questions.

1. Which way is the air flow on the battery filter? My old filter had no markings, but my new one indicates which way to put it in based on the air flow direction.

2. On my 2005 Escape, there are 4 screw covers/caps you have to remove before you unscrew the cover plate over the cabin filter. I lost two of them (perhaps my dog??), any chance you can find those little caps somewhere? I don't want the screws rusting out.

#1 it does not matter. The arrow is there so after checking the filter mid-way into it's lifespan, you can put it back the same way each time. Use a pen to mark your own arrow if you want to. Basically, always have the dirty side facing up! ( air flow is from top down )

#2 I do not think those "caps" are water proof in the first place. Nice to have them, but not a must have. Don't stress out if they are missing. Caps should be available, but be prepared to pay $10.
