New to the board and glad to finally find a place to talk Hybrid. My wife has an 08 MMH and I am interested in upgrading to an HID kit for the headlights. Talking to Phil Wong here on the board, I know I need a 9008 Bulb, H13 style. Has anyone put one of these kits on their MMH and if so where did you get it and how hard was the install? Cost? IF anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Look to be a plug in replacement kit looks easy to install. They don't look cheap though. Way too bright on my eyes when I approach them on a 2 lane road.

Not HID, but I'd go with the simple to install, relatively cheap, drastic improvement Sylvania Silverstars, H13ST. I've used them on my two other vehicles for several years, and they are a nice improvement.

I had thought abouot those but was really wanting to try and go the HID route if not too overly complicated. Those are most definately my 2nd choice.

Maybe try escape-central. Since the Hybrid and "regular" are the same, the light mod would be the same.
