BRAKE PADS & TREAD DEPTH

BRAKE PADS & TREAD DEPTH
My 2005 just rolled over 25,000 miles. Seemed like a good day to rotate the tires for the second time. ( First time was done at the dealer during "First Oil Change Free" ) { $10 to rotate }
I also looked at the brake pads for the first time while I had the wheels off.
I used a workshop caliper to measure thickness.
My front disc brake pads have 9.5mm of "meat" on them at 25,000 miles.
My rear disc brake pads have 11mm of "meat" on them, same distance.
While you cannot ( or should not ) run them down to zero, this seems pretty thick.
Anyone know what thickness they are factory new???
Also, my tire tread depth is 7.5mm on all 4 Conti "Eco Plus" tires. ( factory ones )
I don't know for sure, but I think factory new tires are about 9mm???
Can anyone confirm this?
All in all, I was very pleased with my findings.

Re: BRAKE PADS & TREAD DEPTH
Okay. Thanks Guys. 12/32 = 9.5mm when new.
So I've lost 2mm in 25,000 miles.
If my math is correct, 2.5mm = 3/32 which is legal tread depth in most areas.
( I think it may be 2/32" but why press your luck... )
9.5mm new
7.5mm @ 25,000 miles
5.5mm expected at 50,000 miles
3.5mm expected at 75,000 miles
2.5mm expected at 82,500 miles
I know that's assuming constant wear, but 1 year ago, I estimated since these have LRR tires with a harder rubber compound, they should be at least 80,000 mile tires. I need more people to chime in, but if my tires are wearing slower, maybe the 44psi vs. 35psi really helps more than just gas mileage.
( Yes, I measured several points on different tires, and it was consistant. No "extra" wear in the center. )
