Hello I am new to this forum. I looked around a little and did not find this in another thread so if it is a repeat I'm sorry.
I am getting a 2008 escape hybrid tomorrow. My one question that I can't seam to find info on is do I need to be worried about what I but in the cargo area ( on top of the battery). Is there a weight limit or any risk of damage to the battery.

I bought and carried 20 bags of top soil home from Lowes with no issue. That was 800 pounds total.
