Default electrical glitch...?

my 06 FEH did something wacky on my drive home today. i'm driving about 50mph, and my message center pops up the note "liftgate open." it wasn't open (and hadn't been for several days!) but i ran the quick systems check. nothing. a few moments later my doors tried to unlock and then relock. i ran the sys check again and got nothing. when i got home about 5-10 min later, parked the car and locked the doors...it honked twice, and a few seconds later the panic alarm went off (???). i was out driving again later in the evening and had no problems.

the delership said it might be an electrical glitch with the liftgate, and to watch if it happens again. he didn't think it was anything related to the EV system, but i was just being cautious. they said the door lock/unlock might have just been the system cycling thru, since it thought the back was open.

any suggestions? ideas? everything is under warranty, but if a sensor is about to go batty, i just want to have an idea what to ask the tech guys at the dealership.

thanks!

Sounds like a sensor glitch.

You mention some of the oddities happened while you were parked. There's a chance that it could also be someone using a device on your FOB frequency. (Very, very unlikely. but still possible)

Sounds like the liftgate sensor wasn't registering correctly. Hmmm... wonder if the rest of it was just some program in the system that runs trying to clear the glitch.... If so that would actually be pretty cool, but fairly unlikely.
