Engineering Test Mode
GPSMan1 (John) mentioned a diagnostic display mode option for the FEH in another thread. To recap, if you hold down the Reset button while turning the key on (ACC or Start positions), the LED display will show "Engineering Test Mode" and you can then press the reset button to advance through a number of informational data points.
Some of the data points are very easy to understand while other items are less clear in what is being reported. If anyone can shed light on some of the less clear items or add what data points they see on their model, please post up. There appears to be different data available for different model years (and possibly different data for Job 1 vs Job 2 models). I'll start off by listing the fields from my 08 FEH FWD (Job 1) model in the next post. |

Engineering test mode displays the following DTCs: C111 C151 E023 9318 9137 E472 E511 CEL and SRS bulbs are lit. None of codes above are listed in the Ford hybrid DTC list. How can I translate dash reading DTC to OBD style DTC? |
