I finally got a video uploaded of some offroad fun this spring in Michigan. We hope to have another soon. Here is the link to the YouTube video.

Re: Escape Hybrid Offroad Fun
My favorite part was at one point seeing the rear wheels spin.
Something I'll never EVER see on mine!
How much ( if any ) of the uphill was in EV?
I've gone up 20% sloped, paved driveways in EV ( under 15 MPH ).
-John
P.S. What does a paint job like the one on the red cost?
( or is that a decal? )

It is a graphic.. Check out :

look for Slamwrap.. they have a dozen designs with the tear outline. BadFrog picked a good one, I want one too!
BadFrog likes to drive around the woods alot on electric... very quiet, just the leaves and sticks more than anything. You can go a good distance on EV when you are just in creep/coast mode at 2-3mph. We have done some fair slopes on EV... just need to keep a light touch on the pedal. When you are just putting along the two tracks for miles the engine will kick on and off, but overall MUCH less fuel use than the F150 it replaced! We can climb steeper hills now than when they were new (stopping half way up and attempting to start up the hill again...) it seems they get better with age! [the opposite of most vehicles]. More video to come.
