FEH '06 - Battery discharge after a day or two
Hi,
I'm suspecting a bad battery, but just in case. My battery keeps discharging after a day or two without use. I have fully recharged the battery, put it back in the truck. After 2 days without using the truck, nothing lighted up in the car when I got in. Could it be the battery or it could be a short somewhere? I also have a smart junction box problem (tire monitor, rear wiper and driver door unlock problem), could this be related? Thanks |

Step one: Have the battery checked
Step two: If the battery is OK, run an amp draw test on the system to see how much the car is pulling while it is not turned on. Obvious places overlooked include trunk/under hood lights that stay on, glove box lights that don't turn off and aftermarket sound/alarm systems. |
