I found a dealer about an hour from here with 2 FEH's on the lot. I was rather surprised. The web site said they had one, at 26K msrp. But when I called they said they had 2, both AWD and loaded, for 31K. I was ready to hop on the 26K (figuring it was 2WD). My wife has an 05 Explorer I was hoping to get 10K for in trade (Kelly BB figure). That would have put me in the ball park. But if anyone is really looking for an 08, the dealer is in Holden MA.

 

An 05 Explorer only has 10k in value for trade? Ouch, that hurts. And is a long shot from what they were worth 3-4 years ago.

 

I'm about 45 min's from there. Didn't see these listed on their online inventory. I'm in the market for another hybrid to keep my MMH company. I guess I'll have to place a call and see if they are still on the lot. Might help schedule my Saturday morning a bit....

 

How about a used '05 FEH (AWD+LEATHER but no Nav) with 40,000 for $16k?

Found mine at a Saturn dealer the day after it was traded in. They didn't know it was a Hybrid when they gave me the price

 

Sometimes the dealer won't list the cars on the web so they force you to call and come see the product. Watch out for them to say that the cars just sold but you can order one.

 

Visited this dealer yesterday and saw these FEH's. One Tungsten Grey Metallic, the other Ice Blue. They are both loaded however, no NAV systems. Price 31,275 and no bargaining from this dealer. Price is what it is. They won't even accept the X plan.

 

John thanks for checking them out. I figured they wouldn't deal when the sales types just let me go too easily on the phone. I personally can't see paying this when the 09's are (hopefully) around the corner.

 

31275 is over retail for a fully loaded 08 with nav, nevermind without...

 

I loaded up an AWD with just about everything except NAV, and the MSRP was 31835 on the Ford Website. This included AWD, Premium, Step bars, Chrome package, and Audiophile (BTW, almost exactly the same vehicle I'm now driving).
