Default Help!!!! P0a0a no start

I have a 2005 escape, it was an intermittent no start, now its a no start. The only code is P0A0A. I replaced the HV battery harness, checked the inertia switches, clear all codes, P0A0A comes back. HV battery volts 338, State of Charge is 0. Any help would be great thank you

Kinda a shot in the dark, but the Escape Hybrid does a lot of goofy things when the 12v battery gets low. It will be fine one day then won't start the next. A low 12v could also cause your HV battery to drain. Try charging your 12v and see what that does. If that fixes it then consider a new battery.

Also, after charging the 12v battery you may need to do a jumpstart procedure. There's a little panel you'll see when you open the driver's side door. You press and hold that button a few time. I believe it's three times for thirty seconds. That should transfer a charge through the inverter to the high voltage battery. You might need to recharge the 12v battery a few times since your high voltage battery is reading so low.

Hi thank you for the response, its a new battery, I tried the jump start. The volts on the HV battery went up but the SOC is still 0 and no start.

P0A0A is high voltage interlock, the only direction Ford seems to give is replacing the harness. Was the harness you got a new harness or a used harness?

The only thing from a throwing parts at it call that I can make is that the relays in this vehicle can and do fail causing many issues. It might be worth the money to get a set of under hood relays and replace them all to see what happens, or get a few and swap them until the vehicle starts. Unfortunately that is about the best I can come up with right now.
