How to fill transmission fluid ?
My 08 Escape Hybrid lost some transmission fluid during a cv axle replacement. How to add fill transmission fluid and check the level?
Updates: found the filling port. Had to buy a 10mm hex to take the plug off.

Not true. The filling plug is locted on the driver side tranny.

Pull the fill plug and fill to the bottom of the fill plug hole (Eg "Fill to spill" as sometimes spoken - car should be on a level surface).
To get to the plug you need to remove the plastic shield/fairing (must remove a bunch of small bolts). Plug is on the outboard side/drivers side of the transmission. If you choose to drain and refill the drain plug is on the bottom after side of the ECVT (transmission). I use AmsOil full synthetic ATF.
