Default Issues remain after replacing MECS pump

Purchased a used 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid a year and a half ago. 2 days after I purchased it, the well known engine shutdown occurred on the freeway. Took it to the dealer and was told it was the MECS pump. I replaced it myself, and the same issue occurred after getting on the freeway again. Several months later, Ford replaced the part due to recall. The engine shut down again the next time I was on the freeway. I took it in to the dealership again last week and was told the MECS pump in out and the DC/DC converter is not functioning properly. Do I get the pump replaced yet again? Or is there something else I should be checking? I'm at a loss.

Get the dealership to give you the exact diagnostic codes it's throwing.
