Low SOC again

Low SOC again
So I haven't had much time to tinker with it; it still starts & drives (altho like a dog when I have low SOC mornings, I have no regen, and no acceleration)
So this week I got a change to pull the HV disconnect plug out & let it sit several days.
Mon was 53.6 SOC, Fri it was 26.6 (better than the 20.0 I have most mornings, and sometimes afternoons now)
So does this seem to indicate a pack problem vs a vehicle problem?
Are there refurbs out there (preferably in OK) <$5K?
I bought it new May 07, it only has 97Kmi
Last year the AC was crap, I think my wife drove all hot summer with poor AC; I have replaced the AC compressor/condenser etc.
Running ForScan via BT ELM327, it passes all tests, including BCM. No error codes in any software/app. No wrench or triangles; just crappy driving for the first 5mi every few days when the SOC is 20

Re: Low SOC again
Likely pack. A principal failure mode is excessive self discharge (SD).
If the A/C was partially inop and the pack got hot, that's pretty much how it happens here in AZ. Heat hurts these things. The Hondas are the worst. They cook and SD goes through the roof. I have a dozen 06-08 Honda packs that won't hold charge for more than a few days.
There's almost no market for reconditions. The FEH batteries are extremely reliable due to their cooling system. You should be able to find cheap ones in salvage yards.

Re: Low SOC again
So assuming it is the pack, is it a simple DIY like the 12v batt, or will it need dealer reprogramming?
(I know you need an engine hoist to get it out/in, but that's all I've heard)

Re: Low SOC again
No programming is required; however, you may want to limit yourself to 2008 and newer. The 2007 and older have the HV jump starter build in, and I don't know if there are any connection differences. I doubt it, but I'd reduce the number of unknowns...
