Low tire pressure and cold?
We've been hitting < 20 temps here and my low tire pressure alarm is going off. Am I safe to up the tires to 40psi even though its so cold out? Or should I just fill it to 35?

You should definitely fill the tires up (so the sensors stop triggering). Up to you whether 40 psi is optimal for you. It's what I drive at, and I live in a much hotter climate.

I keep mine at 40, even during the winter; it's been over a year with no problems.
If your TPMS is going off, by all means, fill it with more air!
