My wife's FEH had a flat this morning. There's was no message on the panel for low tire pressure. Luckily I was driving and felt the flat, I doubt she would have noticed until the highway.

 

The later productions during 06 have TPMS, however the earlier 06 models (such as mine) do not have TPMS.

 

How can you tell which have TPMS and which don't? I have a 2006 also. I don't think it has TPMS, but I want to know for sure.

 

According to Ford literature, the change-over date to include the TPMS was October 3rd, 2005. Any FEH manufactured after that date should have it, but +/- a week or so around that date could probably be either way. The manufacture date is on the sticker on the door jamb.

 

Also when you turn the vehicle on there should be an indicator light with a bulging tire with an exclamation mark in the middle of it that goes on during the lamp test.
