In the Scheduled Maintenance Guide of my 2009 FEH, every 10,000 miles it suggests:

"Inspect wheel ends for end play and noise"

Anybody know why wheel ends have to be checked so frequently?

I have never seen this item in owner's manuals of other vehicles.

BTW, I have 47,000 miles and I had the blend door actuator replaced under warranty. The rest has been routine oil and filter changes and tire rotations.
