My only experience was quite a few years
ago with an International Scout II. That needed
lots of care to the differentials every 6000 miles
or so. But, it was an animal.

I'm gonna tell em to shove it. I'll do the differential fluid change but the rest can wait until the recommended schedule in the owners manual. I'll do the plugs myself this weekend, just need to find the recommended torque spec for the plugs and coilpack bolts

I see why you want proper torque on something critical... like your wheels.
But why use a torque wrench on something like spark plugs?
Sure, too much, and you'll break 'em.
But what's the harm in going too light?
In all my years, I've always just gone till snug.
In my 3 cylinder Honda Insight though, they have "Indexed plugs".
This means a slightly different plug per each cylinder.
In this case, the "fireing" of the spark is supposed to point in a particular direction. Here, torque is important, as a quarter turn either way would mess up the alignment.
I do not think this is the case with the FEH.
Anyone have data to the contrary?

So just got off the phone with the service adviser after calling him on all this required maintenance. Apparently, this is required as "normal operating procedures" don't apply to the climate here in Calgary. Our wild temperature fluctuations, hilly terrain and other stuff make the wear are tear more prominent here.
