Replacing 2005 FEH NAV/Stereo
Hi everyone,
I am a proud owner of a 2005 FEH with a nav system, stock sub, and 6 disk cd changer. The stock nav system is being kind of glitchy with the audio settings and I don't like it much anyway. I purchased all of the stuff to install a new single din radio and decided to have it installed at Best Buy because I didn't want to have to do the install in the cold. From my research I ended up with a metra 70-5521 harness. They claimed that it did not fit correctly.
The wiring is the only thing holding me up and I have spent many frustrating hours going through many threads, only to find out they are about replacing normal stereos (no nav).
Does anyone know of a harness that works and keeps the sub working? Or at least a connector that works so that I can make my own harness?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Re: Replacing 2005 FEH NAV/Stereo
So I decided to hunt at a few local stores for wiring harnesses. The scosche FD021 is a perfect fit and works great for the NAV head unit. It connects the wiring for power and all of the speakers except for the sub. It has wires for it, but the wiring harness in the vehicle itself puts the subwoofer wires on a different connector. I still need to figure that out, but everything else works and sounds great.
