Hi, yeah I run with it on all the time, for me, I get great mileage; probably better than EPA.

 

My range is 725 on full tank. that's because probably my driving is 100% city. For MPG I get anywhere between 47 and 59.

 

Still on my first tank (750 miles), been averaging 46mpg with 80/20 hwy/city travel. Noticed a dramatic increase after about 600 miles. Was having trouble breaking 40mpg when I first got the car but now I hit 46-50 on trips with ease

 

When I first got the car, my range showed as a bit over 1100km, and after a few hundred km, the total range was actually a bit larger (around 1200km). I guess I'm easier on the gas than they predicted. I have kept the car in ECON mode almost the whole time.

 

In reply to your inquiry, I run with the eco mode on all the time, and since the weather warmed up this spring have been getting 50mpg out of every tank. I currently have 5,000 miles on the car.
One thing I have noticed that will cut your mileage dramatically, is using the A/C in the manual mode, as well as the defroster. I was driving recently in some very hot muggy weather, and a thunderstorm hit. As will normally happen, the windows began to fog up a little. I turned on the defroster, which also engages the A/C compressor. It did a great job defrosting the windows. I left it in defrost mode for the rest of my trip, but soon found out it had a negative effect on my mileage. My guess is that some folks are running the climate controls in manual mode which will cause the A/C compressor to run continuously, dropping mileage dramatically. I normally leave the climate controls in "auto" mode and let the computer do the job. If you're one of those folks who has to have the A/C cranking in your face, blowing your hair as you drive.........well, you're going to pay for that with decreased mpg. Granted, the defroster has to be used sometimes........but be sure to turn it back to "auto" as soon as it's not needed.
Just an observation I've made, that maybe will help someone else out........

 

In the first 900km of driving my 2014 Accord Hybrid, my fuel economy is 5.1 litres/100km (or a bit better than 46 mpg for you US folks). That included a 300km hwy trip. Now a second driver will use the car going forward and we can see how her driving measures up.

 

3 week old '14 Hybrid Touring, 42mpg, will be ~ 600mi range. Used ECO 100%, and tried very hard to get best MPG. I think for my route, this car will be difficult to achieve mid 40's unless there is some change after the car breaks in a bit.
I have achieved a few +50 drives to alternate locations.

To update my previous report, I have just come back from a trip that was 667.4km (414.5 miles) round trip [from Ottawa to Whitby and back here in Ontario]. On the way there my rule economy came in at 4.5 l/100km (a bit better than 52 mpg in US units), and overall was 4.3 l/100km (a bit under 55 mpg), leading to the return trip being about 4.2 l/100km (about 56 mpg). The trip was entirely in ECON mode, and mostly using cruise control set for 85k/m (53mph) with some 10% at 90 k/h (56 mph) and some urban roads at 55k/h (35mph). The winds were light the whole trip, and ambient temp was 18C-26C (65F -80F).

After this trip, the car has put on 1792 km (1113 miles) and now reports an overall average since birth of 4.9 l/100 km (about 48 mpg). Range based on my highway trip is actually about 1400 km driving as I have under those conditions.

 

That works to to 57.65 (imperial) mpg. Not too shabby at all. Seriously considering the Accord Hybrid as my next car.
