New Tires for my '05 HAH. . .
Well, after putting about 17k on the car since last August, it was time for new shoes for my car. Decided on the Bridgestone Ecopia EP422's in the factory size of 215/60r16. They do come in a couple of different speed/load ratings, so I got the recommended 94V's.
Because, you know, I want that kind of confidence when I'm going between 130 and 149. . . They're nitrogen filled and pumped to 38psi.
BTW, total price out the door at Costco was $511 including tax with no mail-in-rebate to hassle with. Their Bridgestone deal goes to April 11th.

Top Speed?
With the confidence of some new shoes, I took the beast up to 120mph last week. It felt great, although it would have been more stable if it weren't for the 20mph winds out of the south.
Anybody else get their HAH up close to tire limits or a speed limiter (don't know if there is one. . .)?

Geez, I don't remember the top speed I achieved on a closed course, but if my memory is correct, it was probably only 125 MPH, as I was running out of road. I know there's an electronic limiter, but don't know at what speed it kicks in. There was only a very slight vibration, but otherwise, the car was smooth.
