Wink A humble request of our moderators

Hi,

I was a little confused to see a thread I'd started get 'moved' in a merger with another thread about Toyota sales topping GM. Two separate media sources for the same information led to the duplicate threads.

One of the better techniques in the past when merging threads is to put in a brief posting describing what was done by the moderator making that change. I figured it out but at first the "moved" status left me wondering if I'd screwed up somehow. Once I did a 'search' on the article title, I figured out what had happened.

I fully approve of merging redundant threads but a note in the thread would have made it clear where the "move" had gone. No big deal, just a suggestion. I'll try to be better about 'reading' before 'posting.'

Thanks,
Bob Wilson
