The IB database people are in on Monday.
They will be assessing the database issues and then following up with the community.
I expect they will be chiming in here to give an update.
Feel free to PM me other comments or post them here.

I'm thinking:

Revert back to the old database.
Resolve issues with HCH II vehicle data falling into the HCH I category.
Make new categories for new models that have come out, such as the Insight II, etcetera.

Hey guys - we are hoping to update the database (remove all the redundant entries)
If you need to add a tank - you should be able to add it here.
I will add a menu item for it
https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...do=doaddfillup

It should work - https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...ehicleid=19352

Sadly the old database wouldn't allow us to add new models/years, thats why we had to change

Why does the db has to be closed for reporting while the improvements are being made? Couldn't the old version be available until the new one is ready to be launched?
Exactly! I totally agree.
by the looks of it people can use the database for any kind of car they want and some have posted incredible milages only to never post again.

Hello,
Well thats one way to get me on this forum. lol
Till now I've only posted my mileage stats, but it appears that I'm not the only one having problems.
A method of deleating an incorect entry seems to be in the works...I hope.

So it isn't just me then? I usually just post my fuel-ups and don't look at the forums much. I've been pretty confused with the dual databases and have been entering tanks in both. Just today I made a mistake and entered a tank at only 11 MPG and I just discovered I can't edit it. So now my mileage is all out of whack right?

You can "report" vehicles - and administrators can delete them.

We are going through the database to delete the vehicles with a singular tank, conjoin all "similar" entries.

Well, I'm giving up... best I can tell the DB ate my entries after Feb and I now have no fillup record from then until now... if anyone in here can delete my account, please do so. I already deleted my car. This is what happens when you fix something that isn't broken.
